Live Music with Tony Moger

  • Bluenose Gopher Public House 681 Prentice St. Granite Falls United States (map)

NO COVER CHARGE! FREE MUSIC!

Moger, who grew up on a farm found music to be a friend that filled the time and brought joy to his life. In school, he played trumpet, and also dabbled in piano. He didn’t start playing guitar until he was 18. He played through college more seriously. In his 30s, he met his wife and was diagnosed with Stage Five Renal Failure. Music took a back seat to life for the next decade. When he was just months away from turning 40 years old, Moger received a second chance at life, receiving a kidney transplant. Shortly after, his son was born. Moger began playing nursery rhymes on the guitar and found his love of music again, making new songs. With encouragement from his wife, he is back to playing music - covers and originals. What kinds of songs he plays varies greatly. “I don’t know about you but with music, sometimes a song just hits you - like that is my song. Like every time you hear it on the radio you’re going to crank it up. It can be all over the place - country, rock, pop, even some heavier stuff,” he says. You don’t want to miss this show!
